Kohalpur Residential Complex
The Kohalpur Residential Complex is a modern housing development proposed in Kohalpur Municipality, Banke District, Lumbini Province, Nepal. The project aims to provide safe, comfortable, and sustainable residential spaces that meet the growing housing demand resulting from rapid urbanization and population growth in the region. Kohalpur is strategically located at the junction of the East–West Highway and the Ratna Highway, making it an important residential, commercial, and educational hub in western Nepal. The residential complex is planned to include a mix of housing units supported by essential infrastructure such as internal roads, parking areas, landscaped green spaces, drainage systems, water supply, electricity, and community facilities. The design emphasizes efficient land utilization, adequate natural lighting and ventilation, earthquake-resistant construction, and environmentally responsible planning to create a healthy living environment for residents. The project incorporates reinforced concrete structural elements requiring high-quality Ready Mix Concrete (RMC) for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls, pavements, and other structural components. The use of RMC ensures consistent concrete quality, improved durability, faster construction, reduced material wastage, and better quality control compared to conventional site-mixed concrete. Given Kohalpur's subtropical climate and its status as one of the fastest-growing municipalities in western Nepal, the development is designed to support long-term urban expansion while providing modern housing with reliable infrastructure and enhanced community living. The project demonstrates how Ready Mix Concrete can contribute to efficient, sustainable, and high-quality residential construction, making it an ideal case study for the Bheri RMC project.
