Driveways & Paths

A concrete driveway or path is one of the most visible and hardest-working parts of any property. We use fiber-reinforced, low-shrinkage mixes that resist cracking under vehicle loads and seasonal temperature changes, finished to whatever texture and colour suits your home or development.

Key Features of Our Driveways & Paths

Crack-Resistant Mix Design

Polypropylene fiber throughout the mix controls plastic shrinkage cracking and improves long-term durability under vehicle loads.

Sub-Base Assessment

Our crew inspects the sub-base before pouring and advises on compaction requirements to prevent settlement cracking.

Decorative Finishes

Broom, exposed aggregate, stenciled, or stamped finishes available to complement your home's exterior.

Coloured Concrete

Integral pigments in a wide range of colours mixed directly into the concrete. No surface coating that can peel or fade.

Control Joints

Saw-cut or tooled joints placed at correct intervals to direct any cracking to predetermined lines, keeping the surface looking clean.

Seal Coating Advice

We advise on sealing schedules to maximise stain resistance and extend the life of your driveway.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my concrete driveway crack?
All concrete can crack, but our fiber-reinforced mixes and correct joint placement minimise cracks and confine any that do occur to the joints, keeping the surface looking neat.
How long does a driveway pour take?
A standard residential driveway is typically poured and finished in one day. Larger areas may require two pours on consecutive days.
Can you pour around existing landscaping?
Yes. We plan the pour sequence with you to protect existing garden beds, trees, and structures. Temporary edging and formwork is used to create clean edges.
What thickness do I need for a heavy vehicle?
For regular cars, 100–125mm is sufficient. For SUVs and utes, we recommend 125mm. For trucks or heavy machinery, 150–200mm with mesh reinforcement.
